Mathilde and Frédéric attended the Congress of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology (ESEB 2025) in Barcelona (Spain). Mathilde presented a talk on species delimitation and phylogenomics of living xenarthrans and a poster on using museomics for delimiting species in the nine-banded armadillo species complex. Frédéric presented a talk on the role of parallel gene losses underlying convergent evolution of the oral apparatus in ant-eating mammals based on results obtained by Chris Emerling.
