Frédéric accepted an invitation to serve as a Community Gateway advisor on Evolution and Ecology at Open Research Europe (https://open-research-europe.ec.europa.eu/gateways/evolution-and-ecology/). ORE is a new open access journal created by the European Commission ensuring the free publication with open peer review of research stemming from Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, and Euratom funding across all subject areas. The newly created Community Gateways are designed to attract submissions and curate content on the platform as well as make it easier for readers to navigate subject-specific areas. Frédéric's role as a Community Gateway Advisor on Evolution and Ecology will be to help advance open science in this research area by promoting the platform and providing guidance with the overall strategy of the platform.
